Welcome to Northside Bilingual Church of Christ

Thank you for your interest in Northside Bilingual Church of Christ! We are glad that you have chosen to learn more about us. Visiting a new church can be intimidating. We want you to feel comfortable when you visit us for worship services, so here is a brief summary of what you can expect from a typical service with us:

Sunday Morning Worship – 9:00

Please feel free to contact us with any questions that you may have about us, our ministries or events.

About Us

NBC exists to lead people to a vital faith in Jesus Christ and assist them in becoming more like Him. Our vision is to be a congregation experiencing a life-changing relationship with Jesus and a church family that impacts our people, our community and the world by evangelism, discipleship, worship, fellowship and ministry.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

  • Warm welcome from our members
    • Gospel – centered teaching and worship
      • Communion every Sunday
      • Giving: Our members contribute weekly / monthly to the work of the church. We do not ask or expect our guests to give anything in the offering.
      • A church family that will love you

      What Do I Wear?

We welcome you to come dressed however you feel most comfortable. Some wear their “Sunday best”, while others feel more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. The Lord does not care merely for the outward adorning, but looks on the heart.

      Where Do I Go?

If you are coming for the worship service, please come to the front entrance, located at 6230 Dyer St. We share the building with Praise Temple, we are located inside the building to the left. You will be greeted warmly by one of our members.

      What Do I Bring?

If you have a Bible, please bring it. If you do not have one, many of our members use their phone to access it digitally. Everything we do and all the sermons preached will be directly from God’s word.

      What Will Worship Be Like?

Our worship service is a blend of English and Spanish acapella music. We enjoy the older hymns which contain incredible theology throughout, and worship songs that inspire opportunities to just sing out to our Lord.

If you are interested in viewing one of our worship services or you are still unsure, we would like to invite you to view us live either through our Facebook page, or if you do not use Facebook, you can still view us live through this website using the link below. (Sundays at 9:00 am)

Beginning 12/1/2022 we will begin archiving our Facebook live services on this website as well. We invite you to view any of these services in our archive section. They will be arranged by Year, Month, Date. Each service will contain a description of who is preaching and what the topic will be. You may visit our video archives by clicking the link below.

      What About My Kids?

We love children here at NBC. During the Sunday School / small group time, we have classes and nursery for the various age groups and a check-in center to assure you of their safety while you are away from them. During the worship service, our nurseries for babies and toddlers are available to you. For children kindergarten age through 2nd grade, we have Children’s Church available, or if you prefer, you may keep your children with you to worship together as a family in the Worship Center

We would love to see you soon!
